    Skew Impo in Preps?

Magnus: I'll have to check that option out. Does it not effect the marks as well? Edit: Just checked, that dialog comes up during output, not imposition, and is also greyed out in my editor dialog. Not sure why, but it seems it is not an option, for me anyway.

    Skew Impo in Preps?

I ended up Setting up a S&R block on a smaller sheet, then printing the sheet from Preps to a PDF. That was then placed on my actual sheet size and skewed as you would a page. Not as elegant as I would have liked, but workable.

    Skew Impo in Preps?

Is there a way to skew an entire Step and Repeat block in Preps? Rather than skew a page, then step and repeat, which creates impossible cuts.

    Preps 8 - Marks problem

Hi All, I'm banging my head against my desk trying to move the position of a simple side-guide mark, but Preps doesn't seem to want me to do it. I have the Press Run selected, I can SEE the place to change it, but it's grayed out and inaccessible. (as is the center guide length) What am I...

    Font-Specific Trap Error

Looks like Apogee doesn't muck it up like Prinergy. The PDFs with the "p1, p2, p3" are the trapped files from Prinergy, (and converted to 4c.) The "00-RozhaOne_TEST Pages.pdf" is the input file and isn't trapped or converted.

    Font-Specific Trap Error

The files were too large to upload, so I am hoping this WeTransfer link will work. It's about 106 MB. https://we.tl/t-WYhl0FPyko I made some test pages. I tried to illustrate the range of content involved in one f the jobs. Indesign file, Font, 1 link, Input PDF, and the three refined and...

    PrePress/Printing Consultant?

Hi Leafy, I LOVE your idea. However it's because as Prepress, we know how valuable it would be to other prepress people. Not all agencies or designers give a hoot. That's what they pay the printer for, right? A number of years back I made a pass at the Ad Agency world, using my prepress...

    Font-Specific Trap Error

Has anyone else seen anything like this? A client recently started using a new font in a multitude of projects, and subsequently is driving us nuts. It consistently produces traps that are misaligned. (see images) Font is "RozhaOne-Regular.ttf" Punctuation characters seem especially...

    Manual imposition numbering in Preps

Hi Guys, I finally got around to working this out. (it was more or less a backburner project) I liked the ideas, Placeholders & 2 one-sided sheets, but I stumbled upon another option that worked out pretty well. I used a SW layout, and since each page backs itself up, I duped all the pages in...

    Manual imposition numbering in Preps

Joe, that sounds workable, and Prepper, your idea sounds good as well. I'll have to try them out and see which feels easier. I'll feedback when I have a chance. Thanks everyone!

    Manual imposition numbering in Preps

Job Layout Report screen grab. This is the one I started numbering manually. Only got to 16 (in the first and fifth rows) before deciding to look for help. I'm noticing that my attachments are getting shrunk. Is there another why I can include them without this happening?

    Manual imposition numbering in Preps

Hi Joe, no, i'm afraid it's not. Think of it as playing cards being printed one deck per sheet. So the 100 different page positions represent one hundred different cards (But instead of a common back, each card has the same numbered image on both sides.) The cards are literally numbered 1-100 in...
