We had KM C6501, very good on embossed papers, now have KM C6000, almost same quality as C6501

I did some testings on c6000 a few days ago, and difference is obvious. Text is much sharper, gradients much smoother...I run now c6501, and I think I will upgrade to 6000 after few more testings. Thanks

Comparison with Fiery is exactly what I'm interested in, thanks for that. I already have a 6501 with internal Fiery, color profiller software from EFI, Es-1000...would like to upgrade to 7000. Thank you

Hello, we are having problem with color registration on our KM 6501. I have attached the file, please have a look. Thank you

330x487mm (max size) is long paper, we are on 2clicks for SRA3. If the parts are changed around 100% I will never have my machine in top shape since not all the parts are worn evenly, percentages just confuse. I will never have new drums, new coronas and new developers at the same time.

Please advise if you know what is the usual schedule for service of C6501, if it is contracted with KM. Preciselly, does it mean that parts (drums, developers...) are to be changed when their life is over 100%, no matter what number of cliks counter list shows, or they should be replaced after...

Hi UberTech, thanks for your quick reply. I did everything you recommended, and came to conclusion that the problem is with the developing unit, so my question is - can I do somthing else than to replace it? The counter is 500.000. Thanks again

Does the halftone simulation under ColorWise pro tools work on IC 408, or I can use only DOT1-DOT2 of LINE1-LINE2 halftones?

Can enyone tell me all the diferences between these two machines. In KM office they told me that the print engine is the same, olso toner, the only diference is in speed and in fuser unit. Thanks.
