    Spot UV BLOBS!

Hi CPT ;) Spot UV was applied as an afterprocess on a dedicated Silkscreen UV machine to our pre-printed sheets, (printed using conventional inks and emulsion coated overall). There was at least 48hrs between print and Spot UV application. The blobs are un-keyed to the print ( ie they can be...

    Spot UV BLOBS!

Hi guys, it's been a while since I've posted but here's an issue that I hope someone somewhere can shed a little light on. I've attached a pic of an issue that arose when we supplied printed sheets to an outside source for spot UV varnish onto our preprinted sheets. The image shows what...

    LP68 Spraybar

Thanks for the info. Have you a part number for the relay?

    LP68 Spraybar

The relay seems fairly inaccessible, well to an untrained eye - and yes this morning when I turned the unit on there was a momentary unusual noise from the motor before it settled into normal noise.

    LP68 Spraybar

Just recently the motor that feeds the spraybar in the central washoff section has been running constantly. Short of switching the unit off after every plate run, I'm at a loss as to where the issue is. There doesn't seem to be any contactors in the system that I can see that might be stuck in...

    Bizarre!

I'm guessing all those are engineers duties or is it simple enough to do oneself? Not even sure where the plate edge sensor lives. We've run over 200 plates since the 'event' and had no similar result.

    Bizarre!

OK this is a new one to me... 2 sets of plates imaged last night. (AGFA Palladio 30) In each case two plate out of each set imaged in a different grip position. ie position from grip C = 64 M=70 Y=70 K=67 (mm): second set c=70 m=67 y=67 k=68 The render shows the all seps at the...

    Photoshop CS4 System Requirements

Ditto. We have 2 x G4 1.25mhz DP mirror door, 2gb ram (that's as much as they'll take), 2 drives. It ain't G5 quick but it ain't a slouch Also we have a HP 2.80ghz P4 with 1.5gb ram as our Epson 7800 print server also with CS4 and it runs ok on that - not as quick as the Mac tho' - go figure.

    biometric thumb scan time clock?

Re: biometric thumb scan time clock? Hectrix do one it cost us the equivalent of $1400 US. but saved us 1000's more in late penalties and early leavers - and we're only a 9 man shop. Easy to use, works in a web browser, you can access from the net or lan, it can be hooked up to door release...

    Agfa LP68 Heating up problem?

Re: Agfa LP68 Heating up problem? Those spikes are the level sensors not the heating sensor. Heating sensors have a flat end - part number 6 on the attached diagram
