I use to work for a company and we had a design firm that would always allow us to bid, but they had no intention of giving us the job. They were required to get 3-5 quotes to show their brass that they are doing their due diligence, and the company I worked for would never underbid.

We occasional have problems. It depends on who's supplying the fonts. In many cases we ask that our client to either zip the fonts if they are PC Based or Stuff the fonts if they are Mac Based.

Using Preps 5.3.3. We use illustrator eps's for our marks and color bars. I can see the previews with the marks and color bars on a Macintosh computer. But it previews gray on a PC format. Either way the marks are fine. At least for us.
