Hello. Our shop is contemplating switching from our current LH-PJ to processless. One concern is not being able to see (or measure) an image on the plate. Another is imaged plate storage. Could someone upload a photo of an imaged FujiFilm Ecomaxx-T?

I was told by a FujiFilm regional manager and my csr that RamPage will NOT be developed further. XMF will be their alternative. How long will they continue to support RamPage? That's anybody's guess, but I would assume they will be dropping support sooner-rather-than-later so they can really...

hmmmmm..... I have a sneaking suspicion that they "upgraded" to Preps 6 and are unhappy. Big suprise.

Thanks, Dan. From our GM: Plate is .008” undercut. Blankets undercut .081”. Yes we are running .008” plates. Blankets are packed to .084” total blanket plus packing.

From our GM: "The plate cylinders were manufactured to run a .008 thick plate with no packing. The blanket cylinders require .085” total blanket plus packing. All units"

Thanks, Dan. No tail cracking. The plate cylinders are made for the thickness of plate we're using (no packing) and the blanket packing, rollers, and blankets are all new and to spec, I'm told.

They are not blaming pre-press. I am trying to take the initiative and try to find an answer to their problem because they are just shrugging their shoulders and saying "we don't know". Not good enough for me. It's definitely a press issue. They are telling me rollers, blankets, fountain...

Hello all, We are having a problem with our Web printing. We get striping on the lead edge. I'm in prepress and trying to help. Pressmen are telling me they can't get rid of it. One pressman thinks it's from the rollers bouncing when it hits the plate gap. Another thinks it's from cheap ink...

It's no warmer than usual, we're somewhat climate controled. I'm told the cooler is working correctly (56 degrees f). Those weren't our curves, just a sample of some that Gordo posted. Thx Kramer68

No press curve has been applied to the plate and the 40% patch on the plate is confirmed 40% on the plate reader (gretagmacbeth iCPlate II). I know there are more steps to creating a color profile, but when they brought the sheet to me it was obvious ,with my eye, that there was a red push...
