I think 4 Bar is below the stated minimum size for C1060/1070. The only way you can be sure is to do a test run on KM machine. I wouldn't trust the salesman's word.

We have been using our KM C1070 for short run envelopes. No problem at all. KM provide a dedicated fuser unit and settings for envelope printing.

I am running a 950 which is an older model. The 951 is a much better machine. The engine is the same as the 1250. My 950 has no problem running bond paper. As far as print quality, 951 is much much better than 950.

what is the cost (price) difference between the J75 and Versant 2100? I don't think it's a very fair comparison between the two. We've been trying to demo on a Versant 80 but Xerox keep putting us off by tell us Versant 80 uses the "same" technology as the Versant 2100. Does anyone really think...

I am in the same situation. A V80+Performance Package is about $300-$400 more that a C1070 with similar options. V80 can handle up to 350gsm and C1070 will not. I will be demoing a C1070 in a couple of weeks. V80 is no available for demo as of now in my area...
