Memjet Envelope Printer - Astrojet M1

You can even download the drivers, they are for free. I think what you need is proper after-sale-service, nothing more nothing less. I have had a case of a malfunctioning printer that was siting tilted for over a year just because the "specialized service guy" was not able to reset the tilt...

shino died. damp motors slow speed, no data to press?

As far as i can understand, your machine is up n running. Correct me if I'm wrong. If u STILL have the problem with the damp-motors and the ink zones: 1) Check if you can move register on any PU (printing unit). My guess is you can 't. 2) Open all the drive side covers and after that, all the...

Test Driving DI Presses Next Week

Stick with the CD 102, which by the way is a proper "heidelberg" and leave the crapy old QM aside. Crapy electronics/ electrics , poor inking capabilities, only 3 ink forms, very expencive consumables, IR Dryer is an extra, only PRO has front and side lays, high power consumption, old...

Test Driving DI Presses Next Week

Ok, buddy. Ryobi/presstek is your machine then. Dont go near a Heidelberg, i'm dead serious. The only thing you have to consider is the after-sales service. Choose carefully between Ryobi and Presstek, assuming that there are 2 different dealers. Dont let the salesmen talk you into anything, ask...

Test Driving DI Presses Next Week

Dude, the Ryobi and the Presstek presses are EXACTLY the same presses. There is NO difference wharsoever. STAY AWAY from the heidelberg press. Ryobi/Presstek comes in 2 formats , 46 and 52 cm wide. The 52 cm is better in many ways. There is the solution of the Screen DI press, its not waterless...

    Help! SM52 front/side lays faulty

I 'm sorry to disapoint you, but there was a machine in cyprus with the very same problem. The specialists changed everything except the actual front lay. Servomotors, cables, boards , even replaced the plug pins with golden pins! No luck....And I cannot blame the power supply (engald and cyprus...

RYOBI 524GE VS Heidelberg Printmaster 52-4

If I dont see a picture of this , I dont believe it. I cannot accept that there is a 4color machine out there with no console. That means no remote ink control, no CIP 3, no register control , no automatisations. What kind of a mickey maus machine will that be? Buy a goddamm Gto, Buy anything...

RYOBI 524GE VS Heidelberg Printmaster 52-4

Dude, there is not one Speedmaster 4-color without a console. Heidelberg's weak pointg is the power consumption and the electrics-electronics. Noone can beat the Japs on that. Ryobi has also a better feeder to my taste. Heidelberg is a better equipped press with very good after sales service.

    Labels? flexo, gravure, offset

The choice between gravure and flexo is going to be a difficult one. It comes down to small details, such as budget, location, priting quantity, after sales service, staff and prepress capabilities. Stay away from anything waterbased and away from offset. PP and PE dont accept water, so UV is a...

is UV interdeck a good solution for PE/PP label printing ?

Dont even try to print labels on a sheetfed mashine. It is not worth it. Nowadays, people want their labels printed on a reel , diecutted and creared. The reason is that, labeling machines only work with reels. So what u need is a reel to reel printing machine, Flexo or letterpress (depends on...
