    Konica Minolta KM-1, KM-1e, KM-1e HD

Stil nowhere. We have got some info about the price of prints but its not so great. From my point of view it should be a nobrainer when you got majority of volume in KM-1 window. And we still have to make room for the machine... if its ever going to be.

    Konica Minolta KM-1, KM-1e, KM-1e HD

thank for the reply guys. So you didn not experience problems in post processing the material? Lamination, binding, creasing, cracking of the substrate (color) on the paper, applying varnish? RIP.... what's up with that? Imposing, speed, missing stuff on prints, ease of use? I know its not Fiery...

    Konica Minolta KM-1, KM-1e, KM-1e HD

First, Hello to all I've got some questions regarding KM-1 (and all its versions) and it seems no one here is using them. We've been to a presentation. One would think, given this machine is sold now for around 8 years, that the guys know stuff about it.... But this is where it gets cloudy...

    Konica Minolta KM1 / Komori Impremia IS29

Very late to this topic but its relevant for me now so any new info on KM-1 or KM-1e. Known problems? Etc. We are looking into buying a KM-1e. We are all hyped, especially me as an digital operator, maintenance guy, designer (from time to time) etc! We would probably transfer 50 or more % of our...

    Post Inserting (KM Pro951)

Like you said. One job (one file) with multiple pages printed in groups. 1111111, slip sheet, 2222222, slip sheet, etc. Nothing special about what I want. And I had a technician just yesterday and he said it can not be done with my configuration. So there we are. One minus (from me) for not...

    Post Inserting (KM Pro951)

Thank you for your answer but it seems I dont have so much boxes to check in my command print driver. (KM C6085, IC 604) as you can see in my attachment, I cant insert a cover because it automatically changes my finishing output mode to SORT... To do this in machine settings is somehow...

    Post Inserting (KM Pro951)

Thanks for your replay. I sadly do not have a post inserter (in hope it would not give me such troubles you have). I tried this with simply inserting sheet from another tray but with no luck. In my mind that should be a MUST solution on a production machine since probably majority of prints end...

    Post Inserting (KM Pro951)

Hello I have a KM C6085 with IC 604 KM controler and I am printing a lot of material (books) in collated sets. But for the purpose of easy finding start of each set (when cutting the material) I would of course need to insert a different kind of paper sheet (colored, or a slight weight...

Xerox Versant 180 vs Ricoh C7200

I worked with both machines. For me Ricoh is far more superior to Versant 180 when you're producing long runs and have versatile stock. Vacuum paper feeding and very good registration got your back with no problems. But If you're into color management (that Fogra complience and stuff; you would...

Correct way to perform calibrations? (Xerox V180 + EFI Fiery + CWS)

I dont have a color profile suite to make an output profile. I can only do a new calibration set on on a specific paper i use based on a previously made output profile. Yestraday I had the whole process of reinstalling Fiery since it had so many problems with imposition, paper catalog, VDP free...

Correct way to perform calibrations? (Xerox V180 + EFI Fiery + CWS)

So I am here with some sort of the same problems on our V180. I had color management training so I know a little bit of what's going on but for this ongoing problems I have no clue. I also have an es1000 spectophotmeter and no color profile suite. But lets go from how to make a color...

anyone have a KM Accurio C6085?

Hello everybody. :) We are also thinking of buying a KM C6085. The question is controller. I now have a Xerox Versant 180 (also worked on Versant 80, 2100, and Ricoh C7100x) all with Fiery RIP. But if I may say Fiery has some serious issues on Versant 180. I will have it reinstalled and see if...
