My guess... when you powered up, those 2 cocking motors failed the init test, so CPC will not recognize they exist when it loads. When CPC started up, what screen did it display? Did it say SSK at the top and have a number blinking below?

Thanks LSW. I actually have the air pressure sensor jumped out. That was the remedy to another problem a few years ago. But you are right, it does behave like that. I wished there was a fault, so i'd at least have a directions to go in

My guess, backtrap mottle. The 4 ink films print fine seperatly or a few together. But all together, there is not enough decrease in tack from unit to unit for the ink film being printed to stick to the previous ink films. Did they change fountain solution? If there is a ink/chemistry issue...
