too hard to answer without knowing what type of press, how many units, what type of folder, how wide is press, double web?

Thanks Steve. Yes, we have checked and verified these are all good. Are there different cut away blankets that have a deeper relief once the knockouts are removed?
We are getting a lot of coating sling from our aqueous spot coater. KBA sheetfed with a chambered anilox coater. Random throughout the sheets and positions. We have tried different blankets and coatings. Does anyone have ideas on how to prevent this?

Who did the press OK? If the customer is involved his OK needs to be the target, even if spec values are out. The new specs should now be the reproduceable target. As long as you can get data from color bars you can reproduce to the "color standard".
I have seen this answered for litho printing with wet trap. We have had several discussions as to where metallic silver should be run in a flexo press. Should it print under the other inks or on top of them?
