Fonts are loaded in User>Library (fewest permissions issue here). System Fonts are all the same on these Macs. No fonts in the main Library, MS Office or anywhere else. I do my best to keep a clean house.

You can also delete the jaws folder in the Quark XPress folder to rebuild the Quark font caches. I run Font Finagler, though YASU does the same thing. I do keep my workstations and server on the same version at all times, seems to help. Repairing disk permissions after any installs or system...

Are you connecting to the web server via SMB? If you are posting the PDF via WebDAV, you need to connect via it's web address. If the address you are posting to is: http://www.yoursite.com/webdav/pdfs/ then you need to connect to the root address in the Finder. http://www.yoursite.com/webdav/...
