I use 2 hand lever cutters. On the Chandler, the clamp easily and effortlessly lowers to the paper. Once I give it a tiny amount of pressure and I want to raise it, it takes more pressure to raise the clamp. Once I am back into the zero pressure it flows back up effortlessly. It seems...

That is pretty ridiculous. Sounds like it is still quite a bit less then Duplo parts. The rollers were going to cost around 5,000 to replace. Im not sure if it was age related.

In comparison, what brand costs less to maintain? We have a duplo 645 and it was at least 4,000 just to buy the slitters.

Anyone have any experience with an Oce plotwaves? We bought one used and the toner is rubbing off the sheet. It has about 850,000 prints on the counter. Could this be a lack of developer? Oddly, no errors showed up on screen.

This machine, I do don't. I do have a company that will come and fix it on request. Kind of annoying just to reset the clock.
