Thanks for the input. I had skewing from day 1, so my probably wasn't dirty rollers, I just think theres a lot of friction adjustments on the rollers. I'm curious though, The cut blade is over a million, does it need replacing?
This thing barely runs 100lb gloss text. Lots of problems. Not so much with the feeding but more the inconsistency of the cuts. GW said the lightest gsm is 150…so doubt it’ll be a good choice for you.
Wow I’m kind of shocked with the positive feedback. I don’t think I got the graphic whizard to run one decent job. Even with the registration mark.
They had this friction add on piece that helped paper slippage that needed constant adjusting. Weird. One of the techs removed it and said it works...
Awesome to know. My issue with the graphic whizard is that the sheet keeps skewing in the same job. So I’ll setup for a business card, then I’ll see it move off it’s lines on the next couple sheets. Same with presentation folders I cut and crease. Do you have any of those issues?
Hi guys, I’ve briefly gotten into this topic in other threads but I need some real help here. I know a limited a of shops may have a SCC but I recently picked up some post press equipment and another press( Konica 7090 with square bind and 3 knife trim)
The topic here is about the Graphic...
I run 16pt on there all day if I needed too. Don’t let the techs tell you otherwise. I would find that the best tray to run it on was the bottom tray of the 3 tray feeder. It’s a straight shot out.
As for the density uniformity, I think it might be another issue…nonetheless…it’s a serious...
Thanks for the tips.
So for the black, I have not tested the 100% k value vs the 60/40/40/100 we are usually set the rich black values at. I’ll have to try it out and test. As for the wrinkling, the GSM is set to the correct setting. My tech lowered the value from the service end I think which...
Unfortunately, I’ve only had this machine for 2 weeks now. I’m having some issues with it but unrelated to your issues. I’m coming from a canon 710 so it’s seems like a huge upgrade as far was speed. The sales guy mentioned that it does not pause but mine does pause like how you are mentioning...
Correct. That’s what I thought would fix an issue with my job because that’s what canon told me. I was getting different colors from one side to the other side of my job. The solution is still pending
Ive used the spectrometer from day one. Did a costed stock and had every print from that stock. My issues were shading. I would do the shading adjustment and it would get worse. So all the services guys said leave shading to zero. It was sent to upper management to get some other guys involved...
I’ve been running a C710 for a few years now. I blame all my bad impressions of my machine on Canon themselves. They over promised and under delivered. My sales guy said yes to everything I asked him the machine will do.
The canon is a great machine, for its smaller footprint, I ended up doing...
Thanks for the info...did the is the aerocut comparable to the 833sc from graphic whizard?
Whats different? consistency of the cuts or the functionality of the setup and user UI?
Understood. 2 years ago duplo was swearing by their creaser folder and now I realized that it was a multigraf 375 in disguise that they stopped selling. I heard they’re coming out with their own folder though. We’ll see. I want to trade up to the duplo from my graphic whizard even though it...
I was going to pick up a Xante impressia for an envelope printer but then I realized my canon can run envelopes just fine and now my Konica will with a larger stack tray.
Is there a big cost difference between having the xante print rather than my digital press?
Are you looking for the fonts that look like someone actually hand wrote a personal letter?
If so, I’m interested in finding some.
Yellowletterhq.Com has a cool service where they send out custom letters like that. Very cool concept and I know some of the real estate agents I work with use...
Off topic…
May i pick your brain for a second about the duplo SCC? I picked up a graphic whizard 833sc and had the option for the duplo 618. Did you have a preference on the duplo over the other brands, if so what were they?
