I took the board to a guy who a few press guys use and he’s replaced a mosfet as it had a bit of browning but says it hadn’t totally failed but when I put it back in it failed sane again excessive current error so a bit stuck now .

Hi all. A customer has gone onto Fuji process less plates and needs to remove the Agfa vcf85 from the Heidleberg. Is this strait forward as unplugging a coms cable and trying it or do I have to change a setting in the suprasetter to make it not connect to the Agfa. Thanks in advance

Didn’t think it was possible . Customer still convinced his supplier can do this. Like you i remember we converted most 2055 from 5mw lap v to 60 mw pro v . This was at apex when they paired up with Fuji but the thermal would melt the plastic correction lense i recon.

has any of you guys had this . I’ve not visited yet but the plate images half way and then fails mid scan . customer has spoken to a Heidleberg engineer on the phone and they say it’s a board or diode but surely that would error before starting to image . I’m thinking more cable fault ?
