Here is an example of the 3100 banding. But this is not what I am asking about since we all know the problems the Versants have. I want to know the difference between the Ricoh 7200 printers and the Iridesse.

Banding issues have never been fixed with the 3100. In fact I have other issues with the 3100 that make me wish I would have stayed with the 2100. I haven't heard at this point if banding issues have been addressed in the upcoming 3100i.

Are you feeding from tray 5 on the high cap feeder or just the tray?

Feeding is not really the issue with Xerox if you have the HighCap feeders, it is the stacking that has to be babysat. Maybe someone make a envelope stacker.
