Update--just tried it and still the same thing with the yellow--it's a big chunk of nozzles in the middle (the Epson prints a small line for each nozzle, in a rectangular shape).

Gordo, Thanks for the suggestion--it might be possible, but I've never removed a print head completely, and I probably wouldn't unless the proofer was really going out of whack. I'm not even sure that the print head would fit in the cleaner (haven't really researched sonic cleaners before)...

So are you using two rips right now? We're an independent company (about 17M revenue/yr.) and most likely we couldn't afford to keep up two RIPs. Volume isn't as high as yours, and we're only processing files for our one facility (one 40" offset, four narrow web presses).

Just a guess in the dark--maybe try the Data Splitter (using the Output Files: Grouped option) or perhaps the Data Collector? You'd have to insert it right after the Image to Screened Separations (perhaps in the 2nd chain), I imagine.
