    Ricoh ProC9100 Print Problem?

Is it always in that same location? I would try and run like 12 or so single sided and see it it repeats after the same number of sheets. If it does I would guess it's a dent in the itb.

Embedded vs External Fiery Server for printing PDF’s and InDesign

Your current product may be very simple but you are buying something to have for 3 to 5 years so you could be printing something else by then. Also maybe you will be inspired to design other things when you can easily print it yourself.

    Fixed rate service contracts

I think fixed for the length of the lease is pretty normal but as far as service being affected by that I doubt it would really matter. As a the person fixing the machines I can tell you I don't really even know what people are paying unless I ask and even if I do it's not like I am using that...

Canon C700 Electrical Requirements in USA

There is no adapter that will do that. There are step down transformers that would go the other way but your 110V 15A circuit will only be able to supply 1650 watts and you need 4160.

Embedded vs External Fiery Server for printing PDF’s and InDesign

Here is one I printed on a Ricoh Pro C5200 with the external Fiery. I guess I haven't tried printing that small of font and haven't had anyone ask about it before. I may be easily impressed but I think it's amazing that something that small can print readable. I doubt the Fiery makes any...

Embedded vs External Fiery Server for printing PDF’s and InDesign

I printed your test page on my brother printer at home and looked at it using the usb microscope. Here is a picture of that. Not really readable but much better than I thought it would do.

Digital press recommendation for printing tabs

The in house print shops / mail rooms I go to that run a lot of tabs have the Ricoh 7110 size machines which would be similar to the Konica 1085/6085. As far as slowing down on the tabs have you tried just setting both trays to the same type and weight?

    Digital press recommendation

The indigo 12000 does that size too :-). But really there are a lot of machines that do the A3+ and you would need a large format roll fed type machine to to the other prints unless you want to do them all on the large format device. Not sure if you need 100—500 of each size on each job?

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

Not saying to not do it but yes I think all that idling kills the machine! FYI there is a multi fold unit that can go on there. http://www.ricohbusinessbooster.com/solution/solutions/finishing/folders/fd5020-multi-folding-unit/ With the multifold unit it doesn't slow down like the finisher does.

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

Yeah I get that the other machine works but I would look anyway. The tech would need to replace the transfer rollers. There are the five that transfer the image from the drums to the image transfer belt and the bias roller that pushes the image from the belt tp to the paper. The counts for those...

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

Is the humidity inside the machine under skilled operators 30%? I could see the humidity drop inside the machine during a run. If you are doing all that stuff listed in the knowledge base article maybe it needs transfer rollers do you know if they have replaced those?

    Ricoh Production Printers and NCR

I have many people running NCR with no issues we have one place locally that just about runs all NCR.
