Have you tried printing the color separations to see if it's in on particular color? In the Fiery you can go on the image tab and check which colors you want to print.

3100 was a Ricoh fax machine like 20 years ago.

Yep it's a pain to take apart but they do work pretty good. We mostly have those size machines in ups stores.

It is pretty similar to the previous model the 5200. They made it so that you can now use the same accessories as the bigger machines and they added a unit to give it the same type of registration as the 7110/7210 when feeding from the vacuum feed lct.

Yeah I would agree more small machines is a good idea. If you want Ricoh you probably should look at a 7200 or 5300. They will tell you that 9200 can do the million a month and it could for what you are talking about but then you would only have one machine. Probably better to get 3 smaller ones.

20k a day is well over what they are saying the 3100 would be good for. I would say the xerox 1000 / Iridesse would be more comparable to the 9200. Unless you are considering multiple smaller machines vs one bigger one?

Have you checked the pricing on the difference between the PBM350e and the SR5120 with the square back trimmer? The PBM350e would be more versatile as chriscozi was describing but I don't know about the cost differences.
