That okidata one doesn't really look like it compares to the other two choices. I suppose it's a lot cheaper though. What can you get for a RIP on the okidata one? The xerox says you can get fiery on it.

The only difference is from Heidelberg you can get their Prinect digital front end I thought you could get the Fiery from them too. I go to places with the 7110 / Versafire CV / Linoprint from them that have Fiery anyway but maybe they stopped offering Fiery now? Do you have Fiery on the Xerox?

Sorry I have not had anyone get one so I don't really have any experience all of the install and service is not done by us I think tec lighting does it.

The 9110 is 130 ppm vs 75 on the J75 so I can't see it being 4 times faster unless the xerox one slows down on whatever media was being run but the search I did says it does not slow down on up to 300gsm. I just want you guys to post some pictures of your machines.

You have the bypass tray which is on top of the LCT right? If that is the tray you have it can indeed run 49" If you pick the tray under paper tray settings and go to custom size look at the maximum size it will let you input. If it's not 49 in service mode SP5150-001 needs to be set to 2.

There are weather proof inkjet printers look at the latex ones from hp or mimaki or efi and mimaki have uv cured inks. These are not something you would keep on your desk and only use occasionally though. How much printing are you planning on doing?

Photoconductor refresh is cleaning and lubing the drums, developer refresh creates patches of toner to use up the toner in the developer mix and get new toner in there, charger cleaning just runs the cleaner on the corona units to clean the wires.
