    Dot Gain before press

Based on your info, from what I gather you are: 1. Consistently getting a 58% when you read the plates imaged with a 50% 1-bit image. 2. Setting up a curve to bump the 50% to 61% (which is supposed to give you 76% at press.) 3. When you image the plate with a 1-bit image reading 61% (based...

    PDF Editors

Print your pdf to another pdf if you have that capability (or a hot folder). Choose letter paper as your page size, but print at a %, say 120%. It will enlarge and center the art on the 8.5 x 11 and may be faster than placing it in InDesign, enlarging each page manually and then creating a new pdf.

How to insert blank every xx copies for a single sheet document???

you can also create one large document and have it pull every 26th page from a different tray. (1-25 pulls from tray 3, 26 pulls from tray 4, 27-52 from tray 3, 53 from tray 4, etc.) You'd have to make sure you have all your page numbers straight. How difficult is it to bind pages of different widths?

Not hard at all for someone who does it. We send jobs out all the time. Especially jobs that have cover and tabs that are larger than the text pages. Design away.

You know what really grinds my gears?............

When you write a post and the first person to reply quotes your post. You don't need to quote the post if you're the first person. We all assume that you're answering the only post on the page thus far. :P
