    CHM and Buckeye, When we load our fonts, we stuff them before sending them over the network. Since we load our client fonts on whatever local machine we happen to be working on, we just unstuff on the desktop and load into FontExplorer and don't have any issues.

    Try making sure that the folder that contains the file you're trying to rename isn't open on any other computers. May work, may not.

    I'll be more that happy to use that tool. However, I will no longer fix the print buyers client files to get them to run properly. I will simply call the buyer and tell them that their client needs to provide corrected files......wonder how long of a time going back and forth between a client...

    I would take a master copy of the book and label the folio pages accordingly (page 1 : sig 1, page 2 : sig 1, page 3 : sig 2, etc) and keep it handy. Or, if you use alot of common page counts 36, 72, etc. create a database in excel or create a master list on paper and name the pages according to...

    The only way I can think of is to just package that part of the job that has changed. If no images changed, repackage with that unchecked and combine the two. If just the InDesign file changed just save and replace it the packaged folder.
