Thanks for your solution. I've already tried this and apply it to every job which I foil. After laminating the sheets, I trim off 1mm from the trailing furry edge before applying toner and foiling but it still has random spots.

I've had a similar problem on my Versant 80 with small tinted text. I would try setting the image quality to 'Normal' instead of 'Best' and I'd also try rotating the business card 90 degrees to that it prints the other way round.

Hi everyone When running solids on an uncoated paper on our Xerox Versant 80 the image still has a shiny finish to it. I'm not expecting to see results as I would get from litho printing but does anyone have any tips on getting as close to a matt look as possible.
