    Ricoh c7210sx trouble

It was over the entire sheet and yes multiple calls on same issue. lastest thing they did all new starter and developer one the 3 color units (black was done last week) and when that didn't cure it they put in drums for cyan and magenta. I'm running now but I feel like it will come back.

    Ricoh c7210sx trouble

Today will be the 6th out of the last 7 work days seeing my service tec. After a few prints I get a "toning" color from magenta and cyan maybe yellow (hard to see) in the background. It shows on multiple stocks so I've kinda ruled out paper settings. Any Ideas?

Switch from Canon Imagepress to a Ricoh Pro C7200X?

I currently run a canon IPc750 and a Ricoh 7210 and they don't compare! The ricoh is dead nuts once the stock is set for both size and front to back register. But for color through the run and for some stock for solids, I give an advantage to the Canon. We had the canon first so our cutting of...

Do I have to laminate both sides for folds

"For some reason I thought creasing vs scoring was depending on what kind of method was used." This is what I learned. There is no process or machine that removes a wedge for the fold. The closest would be a "kiss cut" in die cutting and its not a wedge.

Do I have to laminate both sides for folds

What system or machine removes material at the score/crease short of die cutting? The "Material is taken off at the score, thus reducing the thickness at this point by removing a wedge-shaped or rectangular cardboard chip. " comment in the link confuses me.

Konica 6100 / Fiery issue with transparency

I'm sorry this is way over my head but....Wouldn't the fact "The only difference is the image on the right sits on a transparent layer in photoshop, and the Left image is flattened." make them different on purpose? I would think them printing different is correct. If you want them the same...

    Quite Imposing for VDP?

The leased software I get, but I also see it as a monthly cost for the device and divide it into my monthly click. That way it's charged for over the life of the machine. If you own the software what happens to updates or replacing it when the company goes under? Lets face it monthly software is...

    Quite Imposing for VDP?

What DFE is on your device? Fiery VDP and impose handle 45000 cut stack post cards for me all the time. I do break the output for cutting and organization. For example, I do batches of 9000 finished cards run 9 up so the cutting operator can keeps those in order and not have to keep track...

Envelope printing saga with Riso ComColor-- Looking at iJet NXT or Mach6

I watch all discussions on here and a few other sites about envelope printing. Bottom line - you need multiple production methods, there's not one size fits all solution. We use Ryobi 1, 2, and 4 color presses for envelopes with a Secap jet 1 for addressing. I have a Riso Comcolor inkjet...

    Ijet color 1175

I understand your charging for your average monthly coverage over the average order but if you print 100,000 at 80% coverage instead of 10% coverage you will be in the poor house. Like I asked - Is there a click charge for ink available on these or how good is the software at estimating cost on...
