    We have moved to Font Server from extensis. this is by far better then any other single user style font management. We use it very crudely and it auto activates about 99% of the fonts. works well with CC type kit also. It is pricy BUT time saved dealing with fonts is well worth it

    believe it or not I miss RAMpage. We are quite happy with our XMF workflow. Our shop evaluated everything when we went to EFI Pace and what workflow to get. We ended up with FUJI XMF. Its pretty cool though some of the features that where in RAMpage ( like editing traps making a spot varnish)...

    Hello Has anyone generated a script for PITSTOP to use a specific preflight action? to clarify a bit I am using XMF which allow you to put in a PPP file (preflight) and get a report. Problem is first and foremost it is all done in mm and you cannot change that. Also it does not work...

    we did something similar with the owner of the company - he gets it. sales is resistant. what is funny when we have had things go south because of using a native file- then the customer sends a print ready pdf all is fine generally you would think they would see that

    Printing length issues ongoing with Seiko 64M

    Hello we have had issues with printing length- the seiko we cannot get to hold a length. So 6 foot print could commit 6 foot 5.75 feel or 6.25 feet. I know there are several variables to this. I am looking on a direction to have more consistency. I can expand if needed.

    ILLUSTRATOR: convert to gray

    gray conversion in acrobat and illustrator does not always work the same as photoshop. We just spend a day trying to correct a gray/4color issue and found 100% of 4 CP black object does not convert to 100 grey.
