I wouldn't ever buy a Xerox printer again after using the Versant 180 for a year. I can barely operate nowadays.

I got a Versant 180 in April. I would advise anyone against getting one (though many disagree)... I am doing far less volume on it yet spending far more time sorting orders.

The machine is being sold off shortly so it matters not.

I've not ignored advice, even purchasing recommended equipment but I agree things shouldn't be this difficult.

@t Yes, this describes the issue perfectly. It just irks me that I can't just find things in order in the printed queue.

I've dragged & dropped into the processing box & after printing it's not in the "printed" & also tried via the import method... with the same result. Both methods result in it showing in the held queue. After printing, It adds to the printed total (of 1) for a brief second & then vanishes.

Whenever I print anything on the V180, it fails to go into the printed tab on fiery. This means if I need to reprint something it's hard to find & time-consuming. I have tried the usual fixes that you find on google. I'm on the latest version of Fiery. First world problem but still... :)...

Bought some SRA3 as thinking I'll have to cut down now. Shame I'd just restocked on A3 as I have loads now. There does seem to be something different about how the 550 & 180 treat scale to fit but oh well. Kind of forgetting that I could have done all of this on the 550. I really don't see...

Don't get me wrong...I know printing 100% on SRA3 & cutting down will give me the most control now...but I was getting a 3mm margin on 1 in 4 prints with the 550 using scale to fit but scale to fit on the V180 works differently it seems. @Ynot_UK margin looks great & I appreciate your help...
