The relay seems fairly inaccessible, well to an untrained eye - and yes this morning when I turned the unit on there was a momentary unusual noise from the motor before it settled into normal noise.

Just recently the motor that feeds the spraybar in the central washoff section has been running constantly. Short of switching the unit off after every plate run, I'm at a loss as to where the issue is. There doesn't seem to be any contactors in the system that I can see that might be stuck in...

I'm guessing all those are engineers duties or is it simple enough to do oneself? Not even sure where the plate edge sensor lives. We've run over 200 plates since the 'event' and had no similar result.

Ditto. We have 2 x G4 1.25mhz DP mirror door, 2gb ram (that's as much as they'll take), 2 drives. It ain't G5 quick but it ain't a slouch Also we have a HP 2.80ghz P4 with 1.5gb ram as our Epson 7800 print server also with CS4 and it runs ok on that - not as quick as the Mac tho' - go figure.

Re: Agfa LP68 Heating up problem? Those spikes are the level sensors not the heating sensor. Heating sensors have a flat end - part number 6 on the attached diagram

Re: Inexpensive & Easy imposition software On the subject of huge PDF out of Imposer Pro we always do .ps then distill to PDFx-1a. Sounds like you used the PDF printer in the Print dialogue.
