Image shift Versant 80 / Fiery Work Station

Yeah definitely use the preview, thats how I view my work to adjust it. The other thing I do, it's personal preference, but I only move the back, if possible, that way i'm not moving the side thats facing up when it gets trimmed.

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

I struggle with fusing more textured papers from time to time. It's definitely something that can drive you crazy! What is the brand/type of paper? I've actually had luck actually not using the textured mode on some stocks where you would think it would work. Definitely the AC voltage is the...

    Photoshop PSD Duotone Error

Hey everyone, Just wondering if any one has gotten this message before when opening a PSD Duotone file. The spot color is PMS 7545. The only thing I can think of is that something changed with last update they didon PS CC 2018 which I updated last week. I'm not sure which version the...

    Converting to Grayscale custom Action

Ok. I thought I was out of the woods, not so. The action works fine if I use it in Pitstop, but when I put the action into XMF and process the same file, the black that was converting to 100% is now converting to 87% black. If you want you can move this to the Fuji forum. I'm not sure why...

    Converting to Grayscale custom Action

So I'm trying to make and action for grayscale conversion for use in Pitstop as well as XMF if we choose. So I have gotten the images to convert and tag how I want them and can get the color (4c & Spots) converted fine but I can't figure out how to make the text that is 90% black and above to...

    Ricoh C9110 recommendations

I've had had very little success with running #10 envelopes on our C7110. Any square, catalog or I can't only suggest that you try to run it flap open with the flap being the tail edge. As long as you have the minimum 5.5" for the length you should be able to run.

Looking for recommendations for digital envelope printer plus

Hey guys, Just looking fro feedback on some digital printers that can print envelopes for mailing backup as well as other things, such as regular cut sheets. Trying to find something fairly robust about 4k /hr printing speed for envelope would be great. So far we've just been looking into the...

    Ricoh waste toner bottles

That's strange. We haven't heard of that yet and I had just ordered some bottles for our C7110x. I have had to dump them out before. Not really a big deal, just have to be careful of the toner dust and seal up around the opening with the bag you're dumping it into. Also fyi if you didn't know...

    Ricoh C9110 recommendations

We don't have a C9110, but we have the C7110 which I believe is pretty similar. We've had out Ricoh for almost 2yrs now and we love it. Previously we had a Konica C8000 which was a nightmare compared to this machine. Things I really like are the speed, the registration from front to back is way...

    Averaging Fuser Temperature Ricoh 9100

I actually did this exact thing last week, just with 3 stocks and not 7. What I did was find a stock in the library that was somewhere in the middle of the weights of the stock. In your case I'd probably use 100 cover setting. Set that custom paper up and name it however you want to. Then you...

    Ricoh C7110 Scratching coated stock

Yeah now that's a tough one to narrow down. If it's scratching the paper I highly doubt it's the belt, because you'd probably see some strange voids in the printing. I'm assuming these sheets you took pictures of are just single sided? If not does the scratch happen on both sides if you duplex...

    Ricoh C7110 Scratching coated stock

Yeah that probably a mylar piece that is doing that and it's probably right after the fusing exit. Check the mylars around that area and see if there is any built up toner, cause that might cause the scratching.

    Ricoh C7110 Scratching coated stock

That's strange it's happening since day one. My first thought is that it's missing a mylar piece in the paper path somewhere that's causing that scratching. It's a tough problem because it can be anywhere in the paper path. Is it just scratching the toner or the actual stock in non-printing areas?

    creative cloud subscription a ripoff

I took the dive and did the subscription at home (all products). Just because I needed Photoshop, Illy and InDesign. It's rather expensive for me because I just use it for side projects and my own personal use. Who has tried Affinity and how do you like it?

    Adjusting Offset of crop marks?

No Title Unless there is another spot dialog to add the marks, you get no option to specify offset in v13. I looked in the global list and the action list and I can't seem to find where to specify the offset.

    Adjusting Offset of crop marks?

Sometimes we get pdf's that come in and whoever made them put the offset of the crop marks really close to the trim. Is there a way to adjust the offset of the crop marks when you add them in Pitstop?

PPML files in Command Workstation not shifting entire side of sheet as a single image

Looks like it must be something with CW. We used to be on 5.3 and I didn't have problems with PPML on that version, but after we upgraded to 5.8 I was having issues with fonts not printing correctly. I'm pointing to CW as having a problem processing the PPML. What are you using or a variable...

PPML files in Command Workstation not shifting entire side of sheet as a single image

Seems like a ppml file problem to me. Have you tried exporting the file another way such as a PDF? I've had some strange issues with PPML files and command workstation and I tend to stay away from them.
