have you check you film rollers they smetimes make the wrong presure and help this error to happend, the other option that every body is saying about your spinner is also a posible one,

check the ir sensors near the drum they must have moved its position (recalibrate) them as they see the drum and think it is a plate.

My friend you got it wrong there are some models that you can change the laser and use violet therma or conventional plates. but not any kind at ay time. the brands that has this machines are cron, amsky and optotec check them out.
