Thanks so much. Not sure why some of my local mentioned 9910 / 9908 model which are a bit old. BTW, If I drive it w/ GMG, what will the delta-E I expect, especially Pantone? Or if any consultant can share it's GMG/P9080 G7 cal result?

HP Indigo 5500 Screen Rule & Fineness

Hello Sherbert, Thanks for your sharing. I did a fresh Full Cal based on the linescreen and paper, the result came out better than expected. Things to share are: #1 it uses a special chain-dot like kind of screening, so you don't see the press like rosette pattern, but overall it does...

Which RIP can drive HP Indigo 5500 with highest pantone color accuracy

Thanks a lot Tim for your sharing...it is surely helpful. Ink heating seems to be a popular issue for color stability. Is the inline spectro constantly check and adjust spontaneously, or its used for daily routine calibration? Indigo 5500 do have densitometer built in, right?

    Achieving accurate proofs question

Stephen, I agreed half of the saying because a proof, particularly the G7/PSO cert proof, is simulating a press standard, and such press standard is kind of a norm or averaged results of such press/paper. Thus, a printer's press is to upkeep the agreed ISO standard set upon. To me, G7/PSO...

Which RIP can drive HP Indigo 5500 with highest pantone color accuracy

Thanks for the sharing Paul. I need a solution that obtained maximum release of driver spec from the hardware principle, and yet the CMM is cater for wider gamut during ink limiting and calibration processes...the color capability of the indigo 6color ink on coated substrate should be maintained...
