    Good to be back

I'm pleased to see you back, I thought you may have not bothered to return. I've always found your posts the sort that make these forums so invaluable to people like me. For what it's worth I agreed with your rant. Happy New year Tom.

A lot of print shops write websites, I think it shows a lot of initiative, very commendable.

Abdick 360 - How do I adjust the master to blanket cylinder?

Years ago the AB Dick engineer used to part the cylinders with a large screw driver or bar, turn the handle to line them back up. A big paper jam can cause the cylinders to jump out of mesh.

    AB Dick 9870

I can't see why not the spec says 13 x 18". If the guides open wide enough I wouldn't hesitate to give it a go. If it's your first time order some overs.

    It's me again NCR issue

I'd agree with that. Try and learn to set your rollers, so as you put it "both sides work".

    Crestline Roller Maintenance?

Small offset is very different to Web offset, I've had web & large offset printers unable to run a duplicator over the years. I have found staying away from harsh chemicals gives the best results, I agree with the first PDF from Alois, God knows what the last one's relevance is.

    2-part and 3-part paper help

I was self taught, over 25 years ago now. I may have said this before, ask around & get a bit of help to run a couple of jobs. It will save a lot of anxiety in the long run. Ask your paper merchant or ink rep, someone always knows someone available for a bit of training.

How much toner/consumables do you keep on hand?

I'd say you were hoarding, but if you can afford to keep that much money on the shelf you're obviously doing something right, good luck to you.

Re: Slowdown Re: Slowdown I'm a small shop in the UK and my only saving grace is we own the the premises & have no finance, small offset is very slow for us.
