    Versant 2100 13" x 26" revisited

I have a v180 and has been enabled since day 1, we got it in June 2019. I have run some wall banner type prints and was great quality on 100# cover, Customer loves them. I bought 26x40 100# cover to use for this. As stated above you can only go up to 220 gsm setting. Of course this is not fast...

    connecting a CtF

The problem you are having is this, the newer OS 10.6 no longer supports Appletalk. To use this computer you can reload any OS version before , ie 10.5 or 10.4.11 . That will then make your IMac be able to see the older power Mac on the network as long as Appletalk is turned on for all...

    Eagle Rip 4.0 Problem.....

Does this sound like the same symptoms? The RIP runs fine and we've had no problems setting it up but we just can't get rid of the fine lines in the type. It certainly is not coming from the imagesetter as test pages from it only, look good. likewise from an old RIP we have here, (Postscript...

    Back up And Archiving ....ideas

CD Finder WORKS!! CD Finder WORKS!! We have been using CD Finder for about 8 years and have catalogued all of our jobs burnt to cd. PrePress Mistakes

Thanks Gordo for the reply, I think I will have a talk with our sales rep and explain that the free passes have to stop and with all proofs we are going to change the way we present our customers with a proof of their jobs. Hard copy can have an envelope containing the proof and a "warning"...

    PrePress Mistakes

This proof has the usual sign-off sheet attached, (with the legal mumbo) now for the caveat, the file supplied by the customer had the correct year in it but wasn't used in the old file that is "updated" each year with the customers new text. They supply a word file so we can copy and paste it...

    PrePress Mistakes

The True Value of a Proof?? The True Value of a Proof?? I hope this is not too far off topic but to relate a problem of a mistake I have to see what the answer from others would be.. We have a customer who gives us a word file on a yearly basis. Its fairly simple although it must print as a 2...

PDF trapping options with Delta 7.5??

PDF trapping options with Delta 7.5??

I'll have to try that, we tried a lot of different ways but I think that was not one of them. We usually have to backsave most files to 1.5 to get them to run, Anything newer is hit or miss. Then we run Pitstop to get everything right and have to place them in Indesign 3.0 and send to Delta then...
