    Yes you need to give more details about what you are trying to accomplish. persinaly I would stay away from trying to create a solution by hiring a programmer. There is enough off the shelf software that one should meet your needs with some tweaking, not reinventing.

    In a way older version of PitStop, v7, was a global Action "Define Page Boxes", there was a nifty dialog that let you enter the dimensions you wanted for a specific page box. Now in v13 I don't see this action any more. Is this hidden somewhere or renamed?

    I see where you say you are using DHCP, can you try with static IP. NT networking and named pipes can be difficult. Been awhile since I dealt with your setup but it can work Be sure to restart everything.

    Your answer sounds good, for an experienced pressman. I get the feeling that the press and printing process are new to this shop as well. Getting the rollers and all settings checked is right. I just wonder if the pressman needs some help as well.
