Are you able to use the tray you modified for banners for normal paper as well ? And how long banners can you make ? They set my machine up for 1.100 mm. even though its only supposed to do 700 mm.

No Title i got the buffer on mine for free, and it solved the brick problem. You really need it. Still, the machine have plenty of other issues. Good idea with pictures, here's one of my old setup.

Be sure you have 2-3 month for testing. I only had 2 weeks. And I didn't see the errors the first two weeks. After that it went downhill.

Your Right, the 7110 choud be compared to Xerox Versant 2110 / KM 1085. I came from a xerox 700, and the Ricoh print better. I still regrett ever changing though - because of all kinds of problems. Espacially white dots in prints after 300k prints, and tons of RIP problems. The only real good...

Yep, thats the only way to do it. I had white installed the first week. I doubt I will ever install it again. I use chear once in a while though.

Our 7110 started making white dots in all uncoated prints after 400k prints in 3 month.

I very much doubt its developer. Graphics and clear colors are good. Problem is with gradients and small details.

He says everything os working in the machine, and maybe irs a RIP problem. I think hes right. But still, the printqualty just got worse and worse. If its the RIP. I would expect it to be a setting, that made the quality worse instantly, and not gradyally.
