    Digital Paper

How many people actually use 'Digital' paper? we currently use the same paper as our offset presses due to the price being lower. Is there really any noticeable difference?

    Xerox V80 v Canon C750

Those stats are 'wrong' the C750 is now rated at 350gsm, we've pushed ours to 450gsm duplex... shh don't tell Canon tho :) One thing i would say is don't let them sell you on the the long single tray feeder like they did to my boss, so far we've never used long sheets even if we did it would...

    Xerox V80 v Canon C750

We've hardly had any jamming with our C750, the biggest single run job we've had was a 10k impression booklet(finished off-line) and didn't have a single jam from what I can remember. The only issue I have with the press is it prints can be slightly oversaturated on some stocks. O I'll add...

Anyone else use numbering software like Number Press or the like

Been using this for years, unlike other programs that only allow down to 1mm movements you can move the numbers by .75, .5, .1 etc and also rotate the numbers independent of each other. But it seems he's no longer working on the program as it hasn't been updated for like 10 years :( still works...

We have an external Fiery RIP but the RIP isn't the problem it's more than printer but we had another training day today I missed the first day of training due to illness, but the trainer showed me how to do shading & graduation calibration which the more you do the less the printer will auto...

Looking to replace our C7200 with an imagerunner C750. Anybody have any input?

Well we are up and running with the C750 and I've printed 10k impressions this week and I have to say it's been pretty smooth so far if a little slower than expected as the printer pauses every 10 duplex SRA3 sheets to 'adjust graduations' for about 5-10 seconds. We have another training day...

Looking to replace our C7200 with an imagerunner C750. Anybody have any input?

We'll be getting ours on Tuesday so I'll let you know, the price sounds about right depending on your options and your b&w click is better than we got over here in the UK which is £0.009($0.013) while the colour is about the same if i assume you mean't $0.043? over here colour is £0.03($0.043)...

    Konica C2060(C3070) vs Canon C750

Hi We've been looking at getting our first digital press and we've narrowed it down to the Konica C3070(new version of the C2070) or a Canon C750. I've been reading good things about the Konica's(1060/2060) but can find hardly any mention about the Canon, we are due to see both in action next...

Hi For the last few weeks we've bee having problems with plate fading once they are on the plate, they can go as quickly as 5-10 pulls, also the problems seem to happen towards the bottom of the plate(where the plate is gripped in the imagesetter drum). The problem seems to be worse in the...
