    If you want high maintenance and poor service go with Xerox. If you want low cost and high quality go with Kodak. We dropped Xerox after 23 years. Too many breakdowns and very expensive to operate. Kodak has been a very pleasant surprise.

    If you like scuffing on the folder, treating stocks, limited sheets sizes to run and non-existent service then by all means spend one million dollars on a huge boat anchor. We went with a Kodak Nexpress after tons of investigating and have never looked back. Margins increased by 28%.

    We have experience with Kongsberg. Nice machines but good luck getting service. Was not uncommon to be down for days waiting for a field tech. We sold off/traded in our Kongsbergs and bought a 1.6 meter and a 3.2 meter cutting systems from MCT. Theses are the same guys who invented the i-cut...

    We are a mix and match printer doing everything from very large format off-set (64" KBA's) to Xerox Igen4's and Agfa Titan digital flat beds.

    We just upgraded to Esko's Automation Engine 14 from 12 and absolutely love it! But having said that just make sure whatever you purchase utilizes a true Adobe print engine.

    Conventional Ink on Plastic
