    Paper decurler machine?

Thanks all. I am using DC5065(250) printer, no decurler built-in, fine for most of the job, but seem don't like recycle stocks. I did put back through the machine run as blank page but it curl to other side, (always curl face up direction). Can't choose short/long grain, stocks are recycle...

Is there any paper decurler machine I can buy? Just having issues with the printout curling top and bottom sides, creating problem for guillotine cutter. Wondering there is stand alone machine does de-curl the paper instead of upgrading the whole printer? Many thanks.

Konica C8000 OK for an older machine?

I did get the credits few times and was long time ago. It depends on your luck like buying lotto... so I have also given up, don't bother to ask. I'm getting Streaks/marks prints from time to time(often!!), and yes, only way around just like you is to run extra sheets and throw out 10% of the...

Konica C8000 OK for an older machine?

Thanks BigSi Paper curling problem, especially on specialty (metallic) and recycle stock(300gsm). I just had a tech came in check the dc5065 machine, he also bought his own stock to test, he said machine is fine and the curling on both edges is within the spec:confused:... and saying could be...

Konica C8000 OK for an older machine?

Hi BigSi Is Xerox 700 really that bad... I thinking getting one of 700 soon to replace the old, old dc5065, I know 700 has issues, I guess every machines has its problems here and there, and 700 already 2 to 3 models behind the new one... but I am doing low volume only, not sure should I go...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Thanks chrisg42, sounds good, I am doing light volume at this stage but expect to increase, and I think 5501/6501 can fit well:) Re 700, When they told me to hold the deal with KM few weeks ago wait for their "BIG" promotion, I was excited, under the impression they are going to match the deal...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Hi Craig, you are right, x700 sure is advanced machine compare to 5501, I think 6501 is more close to x700 in term of speed, paper handling etc, and I am currently discussing 6501 options with KM, if everything going smooth, I will sign with KM soon. Good luck to me.:)

Help!! Which one to go with!

Thanks Craig. I just got Xerox sale sent me the new deal... disappointed, I think I was totally misunderstanding!!:o Still double the price of a 5501. I can get 2x C5501 = 110pages per min =), still have few thousands extra for a new 3D 55 inch TV!! I was almost decided go to X if...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Ok... I got Konica back to me regarding the C6501 price, apparently the machine has done very little only 300k, so will be more money than 5501. Xerox also came back to me with a new X700 deal, they are trying to match the C5501 price!! X700 was double the price of C5501, now they try to match...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Thanks Craig, I will do more demo before decide!! I asked KM for information on 6501 cos I think 5501 is slow when printing heavy stocks, will see what they come back (that was 3 days ago, no reply... hmm...). Xerox just asked me to wait a week or two, they said they can do a "significant"...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Craig, You are very much right. Demo machines, aren't they always looks great! I don't think they will let me run 250 to 500 print samples, unless I go for the new machine, you know. Based on your experience, does Xerox(or was that between 700 and 5501 machine) handle(color, registration)...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Thanks GuruMorgor, your input helps me!!:D I told Canon to get me an used 9075pro rather than new 7055, I can see Canon machines having difficulty of printing textured/linen paper compare to others, so will see. I just got back second time from Konica demo on 5501, they seem to improve a lot...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Thanks :)!! I just spoke to Canon sales and they said 7055 is exactly "light" version of 9065 pro, suit for light production(low volume), but somehow I am not convince... So, the machine is solid and reliable? How is printing small text? Dose it have issue on the jitter edge when printing...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Thanks :). MTBF is hard to predict I guess, I am on light volume usage, so shouldn't be a major issue at least for now. From time to time all machines needs service, fast tech service is really concern I guess.

Help!! Which one to go with!

Thanks gordo:) Yes, I agree DPI is not a measure of resolution... I have already test the machines, Xerox 700, Konica 5501 and c6000, canon 9065 pro and Ricoh with the same files, print on same weight of paper etc. Only the text/object on image suffer from the jitter edge from 5501, have...

Help!! Which one to go with!

Can anyone tell me about canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 7055? we have a Xerox 250, we are getting a extra machine in, has option of X700, konica 5501, or canon 7055. So far, I like the Konica, but 600dpi is a problem when doing small txt or reverse white text and object on image. Xerox is the best...

Xerox DC6075 II or Konica Bizhub C5501

Thanks for the advices.;) I am not doing high volume at the moment, I know a light production machine is all I need for now, I am doing SRA3 most, 300gsm business card and 150gsm flyer are two the most. I have been to demo of Konica and Ricoh, maybe I will also try Canon. Quality, all these...

Xerox DC6075 II or Konica Bizhub C5501

Thanks Janidbest, I am not familiar how JDF compatible printers works, but did get the C5501 under the JDF list, no DC6075 II there, which make me think 6075 is a bit old.

Xerox DC6075 II or Konica Bizhub C5501

Greetings fellow printers! Would like to have some opinions and suggestions on my next upgrade. I have a Xerox DC5065(DC250), I am doing small volume for the moment , so in a way DC5065 is "enough", but I found that I have spending lots of time working around the machine to get things done. I...
