Would that doubling transfer backwards up to plate quickly because the doubling image starts after a few copies

I backed off on the buckle and it seemed to help a lot am going to put a new blanket on. Should a small press like this need packing under the blanket? I have ran ab dicks, ryobis, multi's etc. and never needed to pack the blanket.

Thanks for replying, i checked the blanket and it seemed tight, but i had taken the blanket off and there was some packing sorta bunched up at he lead edge, so i took the packing out and tried it again, a friend told me to check the buckle adjustment, well.... the toko 4750 (Multi 1218) doesn't...

toko 4750, the press says it's a multilith 1218. will post pic soon, i'm thinking that the image may be too far up on the plate. i took the blanket off and there was some packing under it that was wrinkled, i took it out and then tried it. same problem. thanks

I was using a polyester plate and have a problem with the image the first half inch of the image is smeared. I had a metal plate made and the same problem.the lower part of the image prints fine. Wonder if I could lower the image and rid myself of this problem. Any thoughts?

Printed a config page and it says that it does have a Jet Direct Card, so I set up the drive through the jet direct, and it says will retry in 30 seconds.

I think we are getting close. I HAVE deleted the old drivers and installed a new one, but it just times out and won't print. the generic one is the only one that will work. The 8000 doesn't have the Jet Direct card and the 8000 is connected to my mac thru ethernet. my mac is os 10.6.8. thanks...
