Hi All, so a client of ours has this file as part of their branding, they've only provided the colour in Pantones (158U) so my questions are, how is it that both oranges show as 158U, there's no transparency etc on either? and How would it be best to print these on the Digital Press? I can...

FUJI XEROX opening new Perth WA Hub!

Great, just brilliant. Sell us the machines, demand your click money and then open up a print shop and take our clients. This is probably the toughest 12 months we've had, and now this. It's a disgrace. There's no way we can compete with their pricing and now there's the issue that when i...

Acrobat DC: colour and black copies

i think if there's an answer for the first question, then that should answer the second, i dont think CWS can seperate colour and black and white pages in the RIP, but once you have them listed its easy enough to tell it to print those specific pages in their colour gamut.

Initial Branding / Logo Creation Discussion + Primary Uses of Adobe Products

Speaking as a designer. Your loyalty here is with the client who had the rebrand work done. I would contact them before doing any printing and letting them know of your concerns and the issues with the Style Guide and files provided. If the designer is worth their salt, your client will pass...

    Versant 80 installed

I'd wait for the light to stop flashing before powering down, it can take sometime (up to an hour, depending on how the machine was used) but as far as i know it's to stop the toner from solidifying due to the heat. you can open the front door and pull out the fuser a little if you need to...

File creation for large and grand format/ Adobe alternatives

what i was implying was that designers shouldn't be sending you layered files? they should be sending you flattened files and keeping the layered file at their end for any edits. if you're charging designers to make corrections then 3 hours of your processing time will be paid for? also as a...
