Can you use any laminator with sleeking foils?

Hi all, Just a quick one we have 2 d&k lamintors at work and were thinking about using sleeking films for our short run digital finishing. Is this possible to use with a normal lamintor or is there certain features it will require to use sleeking film? Thanks in advance.

We have tried that and still see the scratches, our tech is now on board that this is a problem and believes it is the plate after the fusing unit. He's ordered the parts so I will update as soon as it has been looked at.
