Thankful to see these posts with success outside of Prinect. We have had nothing but problems with this system and looking at other options. I literally can't wait to jump ship.

Can you get new plates from Fuji? Seems like a quality control issue on a batch of plates? Sorry, that sounds frustrating!!

Their software is so overly complicated for no reason. When I had the Firey hooked up to our C7110 it ran great. Unfortunately we ended up getting the Heidelberg DFE and it's been a headache ever since. Anyone else have this isssue? HBerg says it's a Ricoh issue and vise-versa... The software...

We get these scratches on our Versafire every few months and it's from the transfer roller. Different machines but possibly same issue.. Rollers w/scratches on them that transfer over.

Experienced this problem today. Ran into hickeys yesterday during a rush job (of course) and couldn't get them to go away. Ricoh tech came out and figured out the cyan toner bottle was bad. When you shake it, you can hear stuff banging around in there. Second or third time we've had a problem...

Thank you. We use the Heidelberg DFE :( And that goes back a few weeks, enough to get in the ballpark. Appreciate it kslight!

I have a Ricoh Versafire C7110X and I see were we can get total clicks since new but wondering if there's a way to really pin that down... Any help appreciated.

Just went through a similar experience and they ended up replacing everything... One of the developer units was the culprit we think, but it took a week or so to get there. Ricoh techs are slim pickins now and we're not thrilled about the service. They need more people.

When I worked for a prepress service burough in the 90's, that was my first job. Making color keys and bluelines all day long. I remember not getting the last color down perfect before it went through the rollers would mean disaster and starting over lol Memories!

Happy Friday. We were asked to look into being able to do VDP (postcards, name badges...) on our Versafire C7110X and we are using the H-Berg Prinect DFE... I don't see anywherein Prinect to do VDP and heard PDF Toolbox is terrible. Any ideas? Have a grreat weekend everyone!

I was running business cards on 13x19 cover stock for years... Now after switching to multiple different sizes, I have found myself only being able to get 8.5x11 stock lol Thankfully we only do them for one client every so often. Sheesh.

Damn, that sounds horrible and beyond frustrating. Good luck with Ricoh. I haven't had any issues getting toner or parts for our Versafire... Worst situation was a shipment being delayed a week or so because of the shit show at the time. Best of luck!
