Versant 280 Dent on IBT belt

Has anyone else ever had a dent appear on there IBT belt? Not sure what would have caused that. Currently awaiting for an engineer to come out to replace. It was interesting to see how the toner gets put onto the belt. I see that it puts down 3 solids strips of colour in-between each job. No...

    Xerox C60 White Line

I am currently getting a white solid line going across my prints. I did a CMYK test to see if it's a drum. Well it only appears on Cyan, so I swapped the Cyan drum around with the Magenta Drum. Still getting the same white line in the same place, so surely can't be a drum issue, as it should...

    Xerox fault code 026-401

Does anyone else experience the following Fault code 026-401 on their Xerox Versant 280? I seem to get it now and again, its to do with alignment threshold going out.

    Xerox 2nd BTR

Is anyone else in the UK struggling to obtain 2nd BTR for their Versant 280? I ordered one a week and half ago and still not turned up. It's marking like mad now and at a complete stop :( Also on a side note, is it just Xerox machines that are having this issue only? What about Canon, Richo...

    Xerox Versant 280 consistent colour?

So I was running a small A5 postcard job on 350gsm silk, one side had a solid blue coverage with photo and text and the inside was plain white with just small text. I ran 200 sheets and noticed when cutting that the blue had changed colour about halfway through and then reverted back. Has...

    400gsm registration Xerox versant 280

Does anyone know how I can manage to successfully setup an alignment profile for 400gsm silk stock? Obviously the machine can only do simplex on this thick stock. I have tried doing single sided scanning and when I do it says 'completed with error'. It's mainly the skew I could do with...

    Lines on Versant 280

I've been printing some cards single sided, on 350gsm uncoated and I've noticed that either on the right edge or sometimes it moves in the middle more I seem to have like a sold line going down. Like as though some roller is something rubbing ? See photos below. Anyone know what this could be?

    Xerox Versant 280 Scratch Lines?

So I was printing some business cards on 350gsm Silk and I stopped the job when I noticed I was getting thin scratch lines all over the sheet. I called an engineer out and he was adamant that it was the rollers in the booklet maker finisher section. So he cleaned the rollers and still got...

    Versant 280 NCR Registration

So I have just been running a 2 part NCR job, and the first 15 sheets were fine, then all of a sudden both artwork positioning keeps moving. Seems the artwork on the yellow you see the tick marks are closer to the edge of the paper compared to the white sheet. Then another sheet it will be the...

    Versant 280 Ghosting?

So I was printing a booklet on Friday and I noticed that the logo from the back page was appearing faintly on the front cover and getting some banding issues. See photo below. Has anyone else had this issue? I did ring for an engineer today and he said its to do with the image transfer...

    Versant 280 Registration

We have recently purchased a brand new Versant 280, here in the UK. On a job today I noticed that despite setting up a profile for the SRA3 uncoated 350gsm stock for alignment from tray 6, I could see that the artwork was shifting up and down and not staying in the same position. Now I did...
