What are your thoughts on 3D printing?

It is very cool.Very bright future.

Personally however, I would not call it PRINTING.

Ja - I agree with D Ink Man - they should have called it digital sculpting or some such thing - 3D Printing is a bit of a lazy name… So I guess we have to all call ourselves 2D-Printer -

"Hello… Have you seen our new digital 2D production printer, it is going to revolutionize the 2D Printing Industry.." or you'll need disclaimers* i.e.: *This printer only prints in two dimensions and not three.

I'll get excited when they can print in 4 dimensions … LOL

Ok Seriously - It very exciting - huge future - if world war III doesn't start soon - although that might give Digital Sculpting the boost it needs - print AK-47's as you need them!!
