Agfa Avantra 24 with 47 carriage speed error

The Avantra 25 (was a 20 upgraded) gives the error "47 carriage speed error". I check the User manual and the only suggestion is to remove obstructions. I open the drum area and there are nothing that blocks the carriage. I could film some jobs unless I did´t reach the end of the carriage. Any other ideas to do with that?

I had a similar problem with carriage stopping in different positions and not going the full length. The small "stepping motors" on the carriage were giving inaccurate readouts so internal computers stopped the carriage. I had two step motors replaced at a cost of $1-2,000 AU and it fixed the problem.

I also had similar problems with the carriage randomly not moving all the way on an Avantra 25, but the error was "Carriage Jam"...

I first tried to clean and re-lubricate the two rails guiding the carriage, and the problem seemed to occur less frequently, but still occured...

I finally removed the carriage from its rails and inspected its driving system, and I saw that there was a lack of link between the carriage motor and the driving wheel. Removing the carriage motor from its place allowed me to see that the "elastic" aluminium coupling between the motor and the driving wheel was loose on the motor output shaft, just because the little screw that tightened the coupling on the motor shaft was broken!
Unfortunately, Agfa uses screws with size and thread in fractions of inch (probably a 1/8" diameter), which are very difficult to find in France... So I simply removed the thread in the coupling with a 3 mm drill, made a place for a nut with a milling-machine, and installed a new 3 mm screw... and it works now (since 4 years) without any trouble.

Digital Encoder Wheel does not touch a V-rail at the bottom (FLAT) side or slides as a result of low spring tension or excessive lubrication.
Dried lube or over-tightened screw caused Preloader Assy locked.
Look at left upper corner in the attachment to see the Preloader Assy with the Digital Encoder (208866-501).
And the srew with washers you have to pay attention to are:
57711-4
61339-5
C01253-2
at the Carriage body
