Apogee Color Issues

We do a quarterly magazine where were having issues with placed PDF ads. There are some that have reds and oranges that are coming out pink after ripping through Apogee. Has anyone ran into this? If so, were you able to fix it. As of now, we're ripping the placed PDF ads in PS and updating the link in InDesign. TIA P.S. the colors are set up as CMYK mixes in the placed pdfs.

Check if you have a color profile embedded in the images in the CMYK PDF file. If you have a profile and it is not the same as the one configured in the RIP or without a profile in the RIP, the separation will be false.

I’ve encountered this issue with letterheads چاپ سربرگ and print materials before. It’s often caused by a mismatch in color profiles between the PDF and the RIP, leading to color shifts like reds appearing pink. For letterhead printing, ensure the PDF uses the same CMYK profile as your RIP (e.g., SWOP or FOGRA39). Also, flatten transparencies and double-check embedded profiles. Adjusting these settings should help maintain consistent colors across your prints.
