Hello!

Our new State law is forcing us to a Low VOC Metering Roller Cleaner
<100 g/l

I'm noticing several of these new formulations are very high in acetone.
one 90% acetone, has a health rating of 1
another 50% acetone has a health rating of 2
One that uses no acetone with a health rating of 2

For MRC which product have you found to be the most effective at doing its job while keeping the pressman's health in mind. (We clean our presses by hand, they are older)

Acetone is going to be the primary component in any Low VOC MRC. ANything else that cleans as well is listed as a VOC and therefore can't be used in a low VOC product. Although Acetone has an offensive odor, it is actually much safer to breathe than most other solvents. The breathable PPM is very high compared to many other products.

POSCO has a product called US MRC 100 G/L that was specifically designed for the rule that you are trying to comply with.

Hi David. Just wondering what MRC you found and how it's working.
