Corel Painter and CMYK files

I know Painter is not really a prepress app. but I’m hoping someone has used it and can answer my question.

Can you open CMYK images and save them as CMYK, or does it convert images to RGB?

It's been awhile but I believe it does support CMYK images.

Was all RGB back when I used it, but that was back in OS10.2 days, it may support CMYK now, check their web site.

It could CMYK since before it was correl. But then that was the full version and not the one that came with a wacom board.
