Brilliant Graphics is a commercial printing company located outside of Philadelphia PA. We are an aggressive company with a highly unique understanding of how to take care of customers, and how to produce the highest quality work.
Currently, we are looking for an extremely detailed and success-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative to work in our production department.
Experience in printing, post-press finishing, binding, packaging or a similar manufacturing environment is required.

JOB SUMMARY
To service Brilliant’s external and internal customers with the highest level of service adhering to standards set by the company. Communicate with various departments including creative services, estimating, planning, production, shipping and sales, as well as customers and vendors to ensure projects are produced within clients’ time and budget constraints. Serve as liaison between the sales and creative and production departments to produce projects efficiently and within clients’ specifications.
In addition, this position collaborates with the Creative Services team by coordinating the scheduling of deadlines and resources necessary in the process. The CSR checks the progress of the project, communicating with the Account Executives as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete the order entry process into computer system with accurate and detailed information.
• Update Account Executives and customers regarding job status throughout the business day in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist Account Executives with request for quotes.
• Manage the cost associated with each job by monitoring actual job cost; estimate versus actual. Assist in the tracking and closing of job jackets to facilitate billing.
• Create and continuously update pre-invoice by reviewing activities, including revisions. Review and communicate revisions to Account Executives and clients.
• Coordinate projects throughout the plant from pre-flight to delivery.
• Coordinate outside purchases and distribution.
• Coordinate and ensure that paper samples, paper dummies, and ink drawdowns are ordered to meet both customers and production schedules.
• Assure all changes are indicated on proofs and change orders.
• Assist and coordinate press checks and/or finishing approvals with Account Executives and clients.
• Assist the production department(s) in preventing spoilage, reduction of waste while maintaining the highest quality.
• Advise, coordinate, and resolve issues as they occur.
• Schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
• Attend daily production status meetings to gather and share information with Account Executives and team.
• Initiate, create and review new job timelines with the Account Executive.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• At least five years of hands-on customer service experience in the printing, or advertising industry.
• Experience utilizing an MIS systems.
• Estimating experience a plus in both the print and agency industry, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
• Team-oriented work style.
• Sound planning and problem solving skills.
• Proven track record in achieving results; innovation, creativity and decision making.
• Superior work ethic, attitude, and commitment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, Outlook).
