• Konica Minolta Official launch of KM-1
The KM-1, a B2+ UV inkjet press, is targeted to the Label and Packaging markets. It will be demonstrated in combination with MGI’s JETVarnish, showing visitors a wide range of functionality, including: moving short-run offset to digital inkjet, hybrid printing with the integration of KM-1 into existing offset processes, duplex printing and larger sheet sizes as well as printing on packaging board, lightweight papers and textured stock. MGI will introduce its AIS system that uses AI to create an automatic varnish and hot foil registration, and the Meteor Unlimited Colors Digital Press with Inline Hot Foiling that features exclusive Authentication Hologram Digital Printing.

They will also show their full line of new digital printing and finishing equipment, including the latest JETvarnish 3D Evolution, a Spot UV Coating and Foiling Solution for B1+ and smaller sheet formats; and the JETvarnish 3DW and iFOIL W system–an integrated, roll-to-roll print embellishment solution for the “Foil-on-Demand” label and tag marketplace.
