ECRM rip can't get my rip to see imagesetter we are using ripmate
need help badly please as I am holding up the work

Silly question but you have tried rebooting and checking all connections!

yes the job comes up in que but I think it is going to tiff not imagesetter.

I wonder if as we have re-installed it has done something to the license of the software which is held on a dongle which is plugged into the PC

Nothing will happen with dongle at printer port, if you reinstall HQ RIP SW.
If you have done it - check PageSetup Manager for proper imagesetter installed, not only at Device Manager.

When you reinstalled the rip you wiped out all your configurations. Did you back up your old copy?
