hi folks,

we are having fit issues when printing on clear film material on our HP Designjet 5500ps.
i found a PDF manual online but didn't see anything about being able to adjust printing.
depending on the size of the print, it ranges from 1/32 to 1/8 under actual size.
clear film we are using is Graphix Clear HP.

anybody run into this? advice?

thanks in advance!

If you're using a software RIP to drive the device, it should have an adjustment to adjust the print length

Another option is to change the paper type, or paper weight, in the HP menus. If it's printing short, I believe the paper is thinner than what the printer thinks.

Although the autonomous car is not quite ready, a lights out print operation is something you can do right now if you have a comprehensive Print MIS (Management Information System). The advantages can put money on your bottom line. So what’s your next step? Link to Article
